Walls, Fletchers, and Games
The Wall Building will Continue until Morale Improves Yes, I have brutalised myself, but all in the name of progress. The wall has come together quite quickly. Is it perfect? Far from it, but it hasn’t fallen down yet and doesn’t look horrendous. It is a long overdue project as I hated the old pseudo-brick…

In Hot Water (Cylinder), and Plants
Heat wave? Rain storm? What’s going on?! The weather has been weird recently. It’s either torrential rain and flash flooding, or tree-splitting sun and blue skies. Summer is going out with a bang. We’ve spent the last week hanging out with family and friends As a follow-up to the last conservatory DIY post, I’ve finished…

Food, Drinks, and Fireworks
Time for something completely different. Ish. Different-ish. Different dish? Bobotie and Burgers It has been a while since I’ve covered food but I’m back with a few recent gems. We had a trip down to Falmouth only to be faced with Pendennis castle overrun by pirates. Summer traffic made traversing Cornwall a bit of a…
