It’s Friday

As you will have figured out from the title, and possibly just existing in general, it is indeed Friday. That being the case, I am excited, but not enough to write a song about it. But we’ll see what happens. I’m currently writing on the train on my way back home, so forgive me if there are any horrific mistakes in this post.

I suppose I’m just trying to pass the time whilst listening to some random conversation between members of the public I will never know.
But I digress. This is mainly to give you a heads up about my entry for tonight. I have been gaming an unusual amount this week, and there has been a lot of other stuff going on.

Games I’ve been playing include Abe’s Odyssey, Abe’s Exodus, and the infuriating Tower of Heaven. In addition to that, I found out that Tim Schafer is making a game which is entirely funded by crowdsurfing, which is a pretty interesting project. It is already the most funded project on kickstarter ever! It’s not too late to pledge, and you can preorder the finished game for as little as $15. More on that later.

I also went a bit mad and spent money on stuff, which I’ll mention later too. It’s not actually that bad, writing this on my phone. Over time I’ve got along a lot better with the virtual keyboard concept, though I still prefer a physical one given the option.

That’s it for now folks, as I’m just passing Lisburn and have not much else to talk about right now. Go forth, and play Tower of Heaven. The book of laws commands you…

  1. Abe’s Odyssey / Exodus are some games — although, especially the first one, frustratingly hard at times! Exodus at least added a nice save system…

  2. I do really enjoy them, but they’re brutally hard in certain areas. That save system really was the saving grace, pardon the pun.
