Money. It’s not the be all and end all, or the route to happiness, but it certainly is one less burden if you don’t have to worry about it. And on that note it would be helpful if I was actually making some to offset all my erractic expenditures, so here’s a brief plug. As you may or may not know, I fix computers occasionally for people and I’m hoping to start widening the service beyond my immediate family and friends. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find me, maybe you too can hire me. Also, tell your friends – I charge reasonable rates (negotiable, as it’s highly dependent on the nature of the problem), and can fix problems to keep a computer ticking over, recover some data from crashed drives, build custom computers to customer specification, hardware upgrades (and general advice), and also carry out complete wipes and reinstallations (complete means complete – everything needs backed up before). Some work every so often would be nice to keep me ticking over, so think about it! I also work with hardware old and new, with many many years experience with a wide variety of software.
