Lismaine Cottage was closed over the Christmas period to give everyone a chance to recover, but it’s back to business as usual. As part of a spur of the moment idea, and an opportunity for some promotion, we decided to make a short film about food. Macaroni cheese specifically. Whilst I wanted to make dinner, my hunger to create was even greater, so we combined the two. I cooked, and dad filmed. The full recipe post is on the Lismaine Cottage website. It’s the first of what we hope will be a series of cooking videos, “Cooking in the Cottage”. Simple charm may have to compensate for the rough-around-the-edges aesthetic.

It’s not the first promotional video for Lismaine Cottage, but it is the most involved. The others have been very brief, addressing one particular aspect of the B&B. The first covered the gardens, and the second…well, you can find out for yourself below:
