British Gas is dead. Long live Octopus.

This is just a brief update regarding the heat pump saga. We have now cancelled the British Gas installation after they failed to price match Octopus Energy’s quote and because we didn’t trust them to deliver after letting us down on several occasions. The shape of the installation may be a little different to before regarding positioning of the hot water tank, but a little compromise is worth it if we’re working with a better company in the long run. Depending on their availability, we’re looking at July/August for installation which would be great.

It has been a while, but we’ll finally be rid of the conservatory full of radiators and water tanks (to be replaced by different equipment, of course).
