Half way there
Welcome back again, for a long overdue post. And what a day it has been! Who knew Northern Irish weather could be quite this good. By this stage, I will have probably been out cutting grass and kayaking on the river – all of the usual fair weather activities. Another exam down too, and now…

Absence
I have been missing from these pages from some time now, but I have not forgotten. I’ve had to call an ordinary decent hiatus until the end of my exams, or until I can face work no longer. The exams in question start next Friday, and run through to the 12th of June, so not…

If this is late don’t blame me, blame TalkTalk
I’ve been a tad busy since I started my surgical placement a couple of weeks ago – 8 am starts, right through to 5 pm some days gets to be pretty exhausting, and hence I haven’t had much time to do any writing. Then I got sick, which wasn’t too fun either. I spent most…

Puzzling the oddities of blogging
No matter how many different directions I take this blog in, it never changes the most popular topic. Back in September 2011, I set off on an epic quest. The quest was to take me through the darkest passages of the world wide web, and round the world (in my mind), only to curve back…

Easter, Baking, and Western Fun
Happy Easter! I have been on holiday a week now, and avoided work as much as possible. It hasn’t been intentional as I have a lot to do, but other things keep cropping up. It was my brother’s birthday on Wednesday, and another friend’s birthday yesterday, so it has been non-stop. Add to that baking,…

Live, from my sofa
Hello again, and sorry for the delay in posting. This is Ordinary Decent Gamer, and I am currently unwell. It has been a busy few weeks, and unfortunately yesterday I came down with a case of food poisoning, or if you’re of Royal heritage, gastroenteritis. At least I am off for the Easter holidays now.…

The late post
I’ve fallen behind slightly with my writing, or perhaps more than slightly. It has been a busy few weeks and I haven’t had the same free time, between filmmaking and filming events (event, in truth). I should also add that I have just passed 10,000 views! Gratuitous Violence The newest short film we produced last…

Post-intervarsities
Last week’s was a very brief post, on the precipice of the 2013 intervarsity fencing competition. That was a long weekend, particularly because Limerick is so damn far away, and required over 6 hours of bus travel. At least there was WiFi, so there was something stopping me going completely insane. Long bus journeys are…
